"Calvin Crest is a special place filled with the Holy Spirit.  I've come to know that from the experiences of my kids and others, but having the opportunity to experience it myself was one that I will not forget."

You're Stuck! We can help!

Your kids are growing up in a world that rarely slows down.

Screens are everywhere. Schedules are packed. School, sports, activities and a thousand other things compete for their attention. And sometimes, genuine face-to-face connection can be surprisingly hard to find.

Your kids need a place where they can put the phone away, get outside, laugh until their stomach hurts, make new friends, try something they've never done and spend time with adults who genuinely care about them.

They need camp.

Summer camp gives kids something that is increasingly hard to find: time and space to simply be kids.

At Calvin Crest, campers step away from the noise and pace of everyday life and into a community built around friendship, fun, adventure and faith. They spend time outside. They play. They laugh. They learn. They ask questions. They build relationships. And they discover that life can be pretty great when you're not staring at a screen.

We think kids need that now more than ever.

For more than 65 years, kids and youth have been coming to Calvin Crest to experience something different. Generations of campers have made friends, tried new things, discovered gifts they didn't know they had and grown in their understanding of themselves, others and God.

And while every camper's experience is different, the heart of camp remains the same:

Get outside.
Be with people.
Have some fun.
Make some memories.
Explore faith.

That's Calvin Crest.

Our 250 acres of trees, trails and open spaces give kids room to explore and play. There are campfires and cabin time, hikes through the woods, swimming, games, activities and plenty of opportunities for the kind of unstructured fun that kids don't always get at home.

But the setting is only part of what makes camp special.

The people are what make Calvin Crest a community.

Campers spend their days with other kids who are experiencing the same adventures, challenges and discoveries. They eat together, play together, encourage one another and figure out how to live together in a cabin. Friendships that start as “What's your name?” can become some of the best memories of the summer.

And they are surrounded by counselors and other adults who care about them.

Our staff are carefully selected for their love of God, their ability to work with children and youth, their enthusiasm for the outdoors and their commitment to creating a positive camp community. Every staff member completes background and reference checks as part of our hiring process.

Faith is part of the experience, too—but camp isn't about having all the answers.

We believe faith grows through relationships, experiences and questions. Camp gives kids room to wonder about God, ask big questions, explore faith and grow in their relationship with God.

Sometimes that happens around a campfire. Sometimes during worship. Sometimes on a hike, while laughing with a friend, or in a quiet moment when a camper sees something in a new way.

We don't expect every camper's faith journey to look the same.

We simply want to give them the space, relationships and experiences that help that journey grow.

And we know that sending your child to camp is a big deal for parents.

That's why we work hard to make the process as easy as possible. Online registration lets you register and pay from home. Our staff are ready to answer your questions. And our parent information gives you the practical tools you need to help make camp a great experience for both you and your child.

Then comes the big day: drop-off.

You may be excited. You may be nervous. Your child may be counting down the days—or suddenly wondering what in the world you've gotten them into.

That's normal.

But as you pull into Calvin Crest, meet the staff and see what is happening, we think you'll begin to understand why families have trusted this place with their kids for generations.

And then they'll be off.

Toward the swimming pool.
Toward the woods.
Toward a cabin full of new friends.
Toward campfires, games, laughter and adventures.
Toward a week without the usual distractions.
Toward experiences they'll remember long after summer is over.

Summer camp is a chance for kids to be kids.

It's a chance to unplug for a while and plug into something better: friendships, community, creation and faith.

It's a chance to play hard, laugh loudly, try something new, discover more about themselves and grow in their relationship with God.

It's a chance to experience a place where they are known, valued and loved.

That's what camp has been about at Calvin Crest for more than 65 years.

Your child needs camp. We'd love for Calvin Crest to be that place.
